the generation on medication,
desperately grasping for any inspiration,
yearning
for more than the greed society dictates.
you pull the curtain,
"don't imagine the view outside..."
we peer through,
infuriated that you taught us this was all we could be,
shattered glass,
revealed transparency.
yet you blame us,
saying we're too young to understand,
even through you were the ones who said,
to question our place in the world,
and fight for better.
